Presentation
Share alike is a documentary series produced by Lent ciné, comprising nine episodes of around fifteen minutes each. Every episode focuses on a theme and follows an artist or a collective. The series includes creative images, life stories, remixed works, discussions, colour, questioning, trial and error and music, among other things.

Synopsis
Share Alike seeks out artists who use free licences for their creations. These licences are based on sharing, freedom and a direct relationship between creators and the public. While cultural consumption is booming and production is increasing, the majority of artists remain in a precarious position. Faced with the industrialisation of art, these people are developing alternatives and see them as a breath of fresh air, despite a great deal of resistance.
Share Alike deconstructs the dominant models of creation by giving a voice to those who seek to transform the conditions of exchange of their works and imagine alternative economies based on sharing.

Let it go

With Koji, Claustinto (musicians) and members of a musical comedy and Alexandra Josse (trainer for the Média Commun association and on-air director of the Onde Courte web radio station)
Claustinto and Koji have broken free from the traditional rules of the cultural industry to put on a show based on a well-known musical.political.
The wall

With Joseph Paris (director) and Julien Munschy, Morgane Vanhuin and Thierry Bertrand from the LGBTQI+ Paris IDF Archive Centre
The cultural industry does not hesitate to prevent alternatives from emerging, as Joseph Paris, who has been involved in the industry for many years, has observed.
War is peace, sharing is privatisation

With Rrrrrose Azerty (musician) and Nastasia Hadjadji (journalist and author of No crypto)
The tools used to enforce intellectual property rights on the internet impact everyone, including Rose, who can no longer publish her music on the platforms.
The art of profitability

With Colette Angeli, Blandine Bernardin and Nico Maria Moscatelli from the Polynome collective and Benjamin Jean (lawyer specialising in intellectual property and founder of Inno³)
The Polynome collective seeks to go beyond copyright, which only reinforces inequalities in society.
For your eyes only

With Gee (author-designer, creator of video games) and Aurélien Catin (author, member of the collective La Buse and the association Réseau Salariat)
It’s not easy to get paid for your work when you’re a creator, like Simon aka Gee, who is doing his best to build an economic model around his many free creative practices.
Neither blue pill nor red pill

With Camille Circlude, Enz@ Le Garrec, Eugénie Bidaut, Ludi Loiseau, Mariel Nils and Pierre Huyghebaert from the Bye Bye Binary collective and Aymeric Mansoux (Professor at the Willem de Kooning Academy Research Centre at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences)
The Bye Bye Binary collective outlines a history of free licences and shows us how they can be a tool of resistance, while remaining lucid about their limitations.
Together, impossible is nothing

With David Revoy (illustrator and comic book author) and Sarah Diep and Soizic Pineau from Manifesto XXI
Directly and collectively financing creation shifts decision-making power, as exemplified by David Revoy’s Pepper & Carrot community, which participates in his creative process.
The struggle for space

With Laure, Nive, Yannick, Zoé from Cinéma Voyageur and Amélie Lenoir and Gauvain Sansépée (media librarians)
Free and alternative creation exists, but there still needs to be spaces where it can be seen and where creators and audiences can meet. Cinéma Voyageur offers some ideas.
